I'm currently developing a short animated film inspired by my childhood experiences living abroad with my OFW parents. This pitch received praise from Ronnie del Carmen and Bobby Pontillas, and has earned me a spot in the SAPlings mentorship program at SIKAP and in the Vision Creative Unit at iACADEMY.
"Starved for love and attention, a starry-eyed boy gets the bright idea to save his tired mother from overtime - no matter the cost."

As a child, I was ignorant of what it meant to raise a family in a country whose language and culture were alien to your own. I didn’t understand that failure to survive and adapt in a fast paced society meant deportation. I only felt her absence, and I carried it as rejection.
"Lights Out is a deeply personal story about love and tragic innocence. This story lives inside the misunderstanding between the quiet love of a mother struggling to survive and a child who simply longs for a connection."

This is a personal children's picture book project designed to tell a heartwarming story while introducing young readers to basic American Sign Language — promoting inclusivity and exposing them to a visual language.
"On the coldest day of the year, a young deaf boy ventures outside his home to visually hear the birds sing."

A story that I pitched for my animation thesis project.
"At her great grandfather’s 80th birthday, an introverted little girl becomes overwhelmed by how high-strung a classic Filipino party is from what she is used to back home abroad. She gravitates to the only thing familiar to her: cake."
